Original pastel on sandpaper, 22" x 28"  This painting was just selected at the Wyoming Artists' Association conference to hang in Wyoming Governor Matt Mead's office for the upcoming year.

Pioneer Snow Fence

West of Laramie, this old snow fence is probably 100 years old or more. It has a very distinctive style which helps determine its age.

I have now been working on this for about 5 weeks.
Each day I try to make a bit more progress, perhaps another set of letters, highlights or lowlights, color glazes, etc.
I also need to work around my work schedule and (of course) that perpetual eye fatique.
