I was in Saratoga, WY and saw a golf course on one side of the road and sagebrush on the other. When I returned to the studio, I could not help but paint something relating to these unusual divisions of color I had just seen that day.
SOLD to a customer from Laramie, WY This woman's wrap becomes part of a panorama I viewed from the top of the Bighorn Mountains in northern Wyoming. I enjoyed creating this portrait in blue. This 30 x 40" painting is framed in a black enameled wooden frame.

This was the first pastel I did in Mike Beeman's portrait workshop. I had a terrific time & learned a lot. I have never really drawn people before. Sometimes I feel I ride in on a horse of a totally different color, but to each his own.
Fantastic Western skyscape! After a perfectly miserable day of car troubles I was rewarded by this scene. Pastel on sandpaper, my favorite base upon which to work.
