Sage Subdivisions

BUY IT NOW

I was in Saratoga, WY and saw a golf course on one side of the road and sagebrush on the other. When I returned to the studio, I could not help but paint something relating to these unusual divisions of color I had just seen that day.

Am I Blue?

SOLD to a customer from Laramie, WY
This woman's wrap becomes part of a panorama I viewed from the top of the Bighorn Mountains in northern Wyoming. I enjoyed creating this portrait in blue. This 30 x 40" painting is framed in a black enameled wooden frame.

Thought I would try just a bit of abstraction for a change. This reminds me of woven tapestries and overlapping landscapes. 30x40" unframed acrylic on canvas

This was the first pastel I did in Mike Beeman's portrait workshop. I had a terrific time & learned a lot. I have never really drawn people before. Sometimes I feel I ride in on a horse of a totally different color, but to each his own.

White Thunderhead
