Textured Tanker

I enjoyed the challenge of rendering the complexity 
of layers of texture on this railroad oil tanker car displaying
oil running over letters painted over rusted 
and peeling paint with shadows traversing all.
This has been accepted into the 2015 Western Spirit Show.

Pastel in progress

This is a pastel I am working on for an upcoming railroad
show in Cheyenne this Summer. I am
building up layers of texture on the
side of this tanker car.
