North of the Old Laramie River Bridge

I had gone to an art guild meeting one night & heard artists complaining that they had to travel so FAR to find esthetic sites to paint. The following weekend I plunked myself down on a spot which would probably be considered as undesirable. The thin cream line close to the horizon is actually I-80. And I used a bit of artistic license to remove some unwanted rubble. But here it is...a great landscape in an otherwise depressed part of town. Pastel 22x28".
