This was a lot work to get the layers? Very nice!
Layers were spritzed on over cutout leaf shapes with a toothbrush. Successive layers were negatively painted around positive shapes. Each negative shape pushes the forground up and adds another step backwards. These are relaxing to do, take a few hours, and the end result is always rather ephmeral.
