Fuchsia Nude

Self Portraits can always be intimidating. I have always loved vibrant colors and this small pastel is no exception.

Neon II

I was getting tired of doing landscapes, so I have been using the female figure as a source for my most recent artistic endeavors. This particular piece has been selected for the Pastel Society of the Northern Rockies exhibit in Loveland, CO the latter part of June and the first week in August. I was extremely disappointed that the Fuschia Nude created a few days prior was not selected. 9" x 12" pastel $325.

Twisted

This was another nude modeling session. A few of us are sharing the price of a model and hiring a person each Friday night. The sessions have been good practice for all of us. This is about as normal as my colors get unless I am trying to snap myself back into reality checks for true observational color and technical practice.

Female I

SOLD to a collector from Brisbane, Australia
ACEO original oil painting, 2.5 x 3.5 inches, done in a slightly cubist style. I am findinf that bolder more graphic images view better in these tiny paintings. Thought I would try a few of these females. Acrylic on museum board.
