I have now been working on this for about 5 weeks.
Each day I try to make a bit more progress, perhaps another set of letters, highlights or lowlights, color glazes, etc.
I also need to work around my work schedule and (of course) that perpetual eye fatique.

More drawing has been added to the 3' by 4' canvas. Adjustments and decisions will be made once the actual painting process begins.

This is the start of a charcoal sketch on a 3' by 4" stretched canvas. I use vine charcoal because it can be dusted off easily to make adjustments.

I enjoyed looking through the frame onto the weathered exterior wall, through the window into the first room of the shed, through the interior doorway to the second room, and through both the old screen door (which was partly ajar) and the exterior doorway to the farm yard beyond.
